Do I Need Motor Legal Protection Cover? (On My Car Insurance)

If you’re in an accident that was not your fault, the cost of getting your car repaired is not the only expense that you’ll face. There are numerous additional costs that you might need to consider, such as the cost of phone calls to deal with claims and the financial impact of any essential time off work. These miscellaneous expenses are the ones that are covered by motor legal protection.

What are the benefits?

The recovery of costs including (but not exclusively):

  • Vehicle repair and recovery
  • Personal injury
  • Hire vehicle (often unlimited)
  • Loss of earnings
  • Policy excess
  • Medical bills
  • Legal expenses

Is motor legal protection a legal requirement?

Drivers are not legally required to have legal protection, and in fact, a large number of drivers do not have the cover. However, it can be extremely beneficial to invest in motor legal protection to fully shield oneself from all motor-related eventualities.

Consider the following scenario:

Mrs. Davies stops her car at a set of traffic lights. Another car, going too fast, drives into the back of her. The rear of Mrs. Davies’ car is badly damaged and she is injured. Mr. Barnes, the man driving the other car, is at fault. While his insurance will pay for the damage to Mrs. Davies’ car, there are many other expenses that Mrs. Davies will incur. For example she is forced to pay out for the car-towing fees, a hire car until her car is fixed and a considerable policy excess on her car. Her injuries necessitate a visit to the doctor and because she is self-employed, this causes her to lose half a day’s earnings. Mrs. Davies has not got motor legal protection. Uncertain if she is permitted to claim back these expenses and daunted by the prospect of chasing up her claims, she decides not to claim and is left out-of-pocket.

In the above scenario, if Mrs. Davies had motor legal protection she would have felt reassured in knowing that a legal professional would have chased her claims on her behalf, and that her uninsured losses and expenses would have been reimbursed, hassle-free.

Why do some people choose not to buy motor legal protection?

Market research suggests that the main reason people do not buy motor protection is because they feel it is too expensive, an unnecessary expense that can be spared. This view is somewhat paradoxical considering the amount of money typically paid out by the non-fault party in an accident. Granted, some motor protection polices can be unnecessarily expensive with high-commission pushing up the prices. However, if people are prepared to shop around, there are some extremely competitive high-quality, low-cost packages available on the market.

What if you don’t have motor legal protection?

Everybody is entitled to claim back any uninsured losses; however this tends to require a lot of effort. You would personally have deal with every single aspect of your claim and although achievable, it would necessitate a lot of time, patience and determination. The benefit of having protection makes the process of getting back to the position you were prior to the accident relatively hassle-free. It will make life easier for you as a driver, providing important peace of mind in knowing that your uninsured losses will be recovered in an accident that was not your fault.

Will your insurer sell you legal expenses?

They may try! Many insurers offer legal protection as an optional extra, often under another name such as uninsured loss recovery or legal expenses insurance. It is important to realise that you are not obligated to take them up on their offer. In fact, you’re likely to find that even if you want motor legal protection cover it is cheaper to buy it elsewhere, since most insurance companies charge a premium to add it to your insurance.

It can be easy to see motor legal protection cover as one more unnecessary expense, but the benefits certainly outweigh the cost. To find out more about Motor Legal Protection, visit: https://www.bestpricefs.co.uk/motor-legal-protection

Connect the Bridge

Our lives seem microwave prepared, and we struggle to connect the bridge between communicating, compassion, and character. In our society we sprint through life, focusing on insignificant misunderstanding, indifference, loneliness, and self-righteousness. We are gasping for the next technology update. Instead of bridging the gap between generations, communities, and cultures; we isolate ourselves further via technology tools. We should place a stop gate to communication barriers like, unfamiliar clichés, medical jargons, business abbreviations, and slangs. Speaking of the cliché, water under the bridge, misunderstanding spans a generation between generation and families.

Additionally, Instead of communicating with our parents, friends, colleagues, and relatives, we text. Effortlessly, we email, send secure messages, instant messages, faxes, and internet global communication, instead of face to face encounters. We zoomed through drive-in cleaners, drive-in banks, drive-in fast food restaurants, drive-in churches, and drive-in grocery stores. Whatever happened to essentially gathering for coffee without glaring or playing on your iPhone, iPad, and laptop? Can we swing open the bridge of communication, and express ourselves up close and personal minus the modern electronic devices.

Besides, we lost the ability to care for others. Especially driving on the highway, road, and local bridge traffic. Abruptly, a driver swishes pass you, and mistakenly run you off the road. In the meantime, you are taken to the hospital, and wait for hours in the hospital. After leaving the hospital, you call in sick, your insensitive supervisor threats to fire you. Your loved ones ignore hearing your tiresome misadventure. Does this seem familiar? You wonder whatever happened to the bridge of compassion, and families desiring to support one another.

Moreover, the bridge of caring is a lost art, as well the bridge of character. What is character? Character is respect, trust, having a moral conscience, and self-control. What does that mean, doing what is right, not doing what I say, or not what I do? We lie, we disrespect authority, and treat the church as a social club. We lack self-control, because we have no moral conscience. We purchase videos on how to have self-control, attend customer service classes on respect, and watch YouTube sermons on moral conscience. Perhaps, we learned these traits during childhood, and carelessly omitted them as we matured.

Unquestionably, we can bridge the gap, and link to our community, aging generation, co-workers, and most importantly our families. The methods to bridge the gap is turning off the television, waiting to text, even writing a letter to loved ones, and have prepared meals with families. Hopefully, dining more than once or twice a year, like during the holidays. Road rage will be outlawed, and the elderly driver is screened prior to driver license renewal. Students are taught to respect the teachers in the school, pastors are allowed to teach about morality, and children learn self-control from infancy. Most important reconstruct the bridge, and reconnect the bridge of relationships, one steel cable at a time, and see where the bridge will take you!

Hello. My name is Shirley Hampton. This is my second article. I am very interested in all the modern technology, but afraid addicted to them. I want everything yesterday. I wrote this article to draw attention to our hustle bustle lifestyle. Hopefully, this article inspires, and encourages us to slow our pace, so can spend more time with our loved ones. Finally, we reconnect the bridge instead of bridge the gap.

Why Are Women at All Needed Nationwide in Daily Existence?

Women have a powerful role in everybody’s daily lives. They not only have a nurturing side to cater for, but also have the huge competence to contribute to the nation. In order to learn more, read on.

How do women have such a noteworthy impact in daily existence? It may be the man’s world at the moment but women are gradually taking over.

Women look after the kids and family but together with support from their hubby they can take care of all the responsibilities adeptly given that they share them together. Again with support from family and/or hubby, they can go for higher education and eventually contribute at large to the nation.

So how are women playing their roles contributing not only to their families but also to the nation at large? They have become working moms, plain and simple. They may or may not be moms from the start. They may start out with careers at first, marry and have a family but still manage to hold on to their jobs. Women are playing the roles of doctors, engineers, lawyers, nurses, shopkeepers, managers and you name it! Where are they less? And they maintain their families well too. That said they excel in all areas of their lives, provided they get support and cooperation of their man.

In the villages of my country, which cover a majority area, women are no more just look-after-family moms. They do some kind of business too – simple or big based on their experiences with regard to farming and poultry. They have money to send their children to schools and educate them and contribute to their families alongside with their hubby. With earnings from both the parents, children are more open to enjoy the greater amenities of life. Poverty is diminishing and life seems to get better with each passing day.

Why are women striving so much to come upfront everywhere around the world? Not that they want popularity or eminence. It is simply from the need to cater for better facilities for their families, lifting off the heavy burdens from their man in running the family solely. They are here in daily existence to help their man, provided that their man continues to support in their daily endeavors.

This is how the entire process forms a pattern – a beautiful pattern, in fact, of men and women knitted together, catering for their families and nations at large, shrinking the world even more, as every single day passes by.

Rosina S Khan has authored this article highlighting the importance of women in daily existence.

Does Your Life Feel Alive And Meaningful?

Vera sought out counseling with me because her doctor advised her to discover the emotional causes of her chronic fatigue. Vera, a successful stockbroker, was in a loving 18-year marriage. On the surface, everything in her life was fine. She had enough money, friends and a good relationship with her husband. Yet Vera awoke each morning battling fatigue and depression. She didn’t want to get out of bed because nothing felt meaningful to her.

David sought my help because of chronic feelings of inner emptiness. David is very successful in his manufacturing business, has a good marriage and two adult children. Like Vera, everything seemed fine. Yet the feelings of inner emptiness drove David to overeat, overspend and indulge in porn on the Internet. Like Vera, nothing felt meaningful to him.

While both Vera and David were successful in their careers, neither loved their work. They worked to make money, but their work held little meaning for them. Yet when they looked inside, neither could discover what was meaningful for them. Both reported that they had never experienced a sense of meaningfulness in their adult lives, and that the emptiness and depression had been with them since adolescence.

As I worked with each of them, it became evident that they had made a decision early in their lives to shut down their feelings to avoid the deep pain of unbearable loneliness and heartbreak. Vera shut down because she was unable to tolerate the loneliness of her mother’s behavior toward her. Her mother would say she loved Vera, but Vera never felt her love. Instead, she felt her mother energetically pulling at her, trying to suck the life out of her. As a very sensitive child, Vera could not tolerate this confusing experience, so she put her feelings in a box and decided to live from her head instead of her heart.

David, also a very sensitive child, shut down because he was unable to tolerate the loneliness of being with two emotionally unavailable empty parents, and the heartbreak of rejection from peers.

As adults, both Vera and David were still shut down to their feelings. They were still afraid of feeling the pain of loneliness and heartbreak – feelings that are actually everyday facts of life. Loneliness is present when your heart is closed or another’s heart is closed, or when there is no one with whom to share love. Loneliness is the primary feeling when we want to connect with another and the other is unavailable. Heartbreak can occur when others who are important to you are unloving to you. If you were completely open to your feelings, you would likely feel moments of loneliness and heartbreak or heartache throughout the day. However, many people shut themselves off from these feelings, completely unaware of them. Instead, the moment there is a twinge of emotional pain, they turn to various addictions and addictive behaviors, such as substances, activities, rumination, shame and blame. The problem with this is that when we shut out pain, we also shut out joy and a passionate sense of meaning and purpose.

Pain and joy are in the same place in the heart. Neither Vera nor David could discover what had meaning for them and what would bring them joy while keeping a lid on their feelings. The very act of keeping their hearts closed to their feelings was creating their depression and inner emptiness.

Imagine that your feelings are like a child within you. If you ignore this child – by ignoring your feelings – he or she feels abandoned. Our refusal to be in Step One of our inner work process – to feel and take responsibility for our own pain – is an inner abandonment and results in anxiety, depression and inner emptiness.

It is your child within – your feeling self – that has the blueprint for what has meaning for you, for your passion and purpose. Each of us comes to this life with a deep purpose to express, and when we don’t express it, we end up feeling empty and depressed. Yet we cannot discover our purpose when we keep a lid on our feelings.

Learning to manage the pain of loneliness and heartbreak is essential to discovering your passion and purpose.

There is no way of managing loneliness and heartbreak without a deep and personal connection to a spiritual source of love and wisdom. We cannot manage these feelings from our mind alone.

You will find deep meaning in your life when you decide to practice our healing process – opening to and learning from your feelings of loneliness and heartbreak, rather than continuing to shut them down. And you will open to these feelings only when you do not feel alone inside – when you begin experiencing the love and wisdom of your spiritual Guidance. Opening to Divine Love and opening to your feelings will bring you the fullness, joy, passion and purpose that are the yearnings of your soul.

Does The Brexit Vote Send A Message To Large Bureaucratic Socialist Style Government Power?

When the British voted to leave the European Union it shouldn’t have surprised anyone, but it surely did. The media pundits were shocked, the international community was shocked, our Obama Administration was shocked, everyone was blown away – still, I ask why? Obviously, there is incredible discontent amongst EU members. And the Eurozone is in big trouble with the PIIGS – Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain in financial and economic turmoil and Germany a little miffed at trying to keep the whole thing going while socialist government live high on the hog. Many have previously stated that the EU is a slow motion train wreck, it was doomed from the beginning, or it cannot survive without more power at the ECB.

Britain doesn’t need the EU, the European Union needs them, however if the EU is going to collapse in the near future 5-10 years why bother remaining and taking the economic hit later? True power does not come from bureaucracy, nor a king, nor a dictator. Erecting beautiful buildings, throwing outlandish parties, or declaring accolades to one’s own organization does nothing more than create a false illusion of power – and that power gets worse when those in a leadership capacity begin to believe their own BS. Britain saw through that bull crap and didn’t want any more of it, no more promises. There is no accountability in the European Union – yet, it portends to have unlimited and absolute power – we can see once again it’s lead to corruption, no surprise should be glimmered from that, it was and is as always 100% predictable.

The Brexit Vote should be a shot heard round-the-world to all those powers that be who think they should run the affairs of globe. All these giant NGOs, and all their subsequent bureaucracies should take notice. The Climate Change IPCC, The UN, IMF, WHO, WTO, etc. etc. should all readjust their dictatorial ways, find accountability, and come off their pedestals. Even here in the US, our Federal Government should see what’s happening and realize that our union is becoming weaker, not stronger, with each new layer of rules, laws, regulations, and agency after agency, continually grown the blob of bureaucracy to the point of absurdity, perhaps the most inefficient organization ever created in the history of mankind. Why would anyone want to live under such an unaccountable false authority.

It’s time for a reality check – the EU just had one – but they are not the only ones that need to learn the lesson. Who is next? More to follow in mankind’s bureaucratic saga – I choose not to live in the Borg, how about you?
