WelcomeRooted in a spirit of dialogue and peace building that characterized the 1995 Dayton Peace Accords, the Dayton Project assists post-conflict parties in developing practical solutions to issues of peace implementation, constitutional development, institution building, economic development, and cultural and ethnic heritage through the provision of appropriate and timely technical, legal, and advocacy assistance. Since it's inception in 1996, the Dayton Project has undertaken numerous initiatives to promote peace and stability through dialogue, and mutual understanding through humanitarian, educational, and cultural endeavors. The Project embodies a model of how citizen diplomacy may be employed to promote peace and mutual understanding in societies under stress.
