The Dayton Peace PrizeThe Dayton Peace Accords Project takes pride in its creation of the Dayton Peace Prize, which honors individuals for their significant contribution to the peaceful reconstruction of societies torn by war. The inaugural Dayton Peace Prize, awarded for the year 2000, was accepted in a ceremony by President William J. Clinton on June 20, 2001 at the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. The second Dayton Peace Prize was awarded to George Soros in 2002.
